About Us
Our mission
The West Virginia Movement Disorder Alliance is a grass roots non-profit built to be a local resource for patients in West Virginia, eastern Kentucky, and southern Ohio who are struggling with movement disorders.
We recognize the overlap in day to day needs of patients dealing with these disorders and hope to serve as a local source for education, support, and research. Many of these disorders have large national organizations focusing on finding a cure and advancing treatments and we are here to support their cause, but we also want to focus on the day to day needs of patients and their caregivers in our area.
